This futuristic helmet is awarded to you if you work for team McLaren. Haha, isn't it cool?! I think this is one of the best helmet design amongst different F1 pit crews. Oxygen vent is link to this helmet to provide fresh air.

Formula One 2010 Driver's Helmet

Team: Vodafone McLaren Mercedes
Driver: Jenson Button
Modelled and Rendered in Alias Autodesk 2010
Done By: Phan Ching

Modelling: Final Stage
Done By: Phan Ching

The model above is similar to that of the previous BUT different team.

The first helmet was not very well done, there were some flaws as to it. Hence, I amended and rebuilt some parts. The whole skin design was done by me. Again, line work is traced out with accordance to the reference image and then projected onto the helmet surface. It was never an easy task especially if you have overlapping parts.

Both modelling and rendering was done in Alias Autodesk 2010. The skin design (lines) was done by myself, by tracing out and later projected onto the helmet surface for render.

Smart Cup's Context

Marquete sample for visualization
Paper Type: Normal quality paper (80 GSM)

Final Model
Paper Type: Aqua Fine Paper (300 GSM)

Who says a cup need be cylindrical ? The all new Smart Cup is a concept design which I did for my project 2. What is most exciting about this proposal is that it is a REAL working model.

The Smart Cup is aim at people who enjoys picnic or for party goers. One unique selling point will be it has  the ability to be flat pack before usage, meaning it is entirely a flat piece of paper. Hence, this make carrying worthwhile. Besides, it eliminates the use of heavy mugs or crush cups when travelling.

Another advantage would be it is 100% biodegradable (environmental friendly) because it is made of paper as oppose to those disposable plastic cups employ in many of the fast food chain. Usually, it can last between 3-4 hours before the structure breaks. Hence, fold this piece of art and enjoy your drink while it last!

However, the question surrounding is whether this paper medium is fit for drinking? Otherwise, it should be fine to go ahead!

Material Type: Aqua fine paper (300 GSM = Gram Per Square Metre)

You can see the light ray bends out at different angle.  This is due to the wall panel which is set out at different distance from each other.
